BOLT Achieved #1 Rank of Top Brand Award 2017 For Mobile Modem Category


Jakarta, July 20th 2017 – Successfully reach the highest Top Brand Index (TBI) 25.3%, BOLT has awarded as the Top Brand Award for Mobile Modem category. TOP Brand Award 2017 Phase 2 was held by Marketing Magazine and Frontier Consulting Group on Wednesday (19/7) in Mulia Hotel, Jakarta.

“We are much honored to receive this Top Brand Award and take the first place for the category of Mobile Modem. This award has been very meaningful for us, because the competition in sales of Mobile Modem with other 4G operators has gotten harder and harder especially in the past year. We are really glad that our effort in giving the best internet device and service was well accepted by our customers,” said Billy Abe, Chief Product Officer BOLT.

To determine the winner of Top Brand Award, Frontier Consulting Group conduct national survey from April 2017 to May 2017 in 15 cities, such as Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Medan, Palembang, Makassar, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, and Manado that involves 12.000 respondents.

Sampling method which is used for random sampling and random retail sampling is multistage area random sampling. Meanwhile, booster sampling is taken by purposive sampling. The interview has been done by face to face personal interview method, using a structured question list which has been developed for the Top Brand Index survey.

At this opportunity, Billy said, “BOLT achievement in Mobile Modem category in The Top Brand Award 2017 has shown significant increase in popularity, comparing the year before with TBI 17.6% with the TBI 25.3% in this year. It represents strong consumer trust toward the quality of Mobile WiFi (MIFI) device as well as superiority of BOLT services.”
